Recap of Teen Car Care Night at Complete Auto Service Center

Thank you to everyone who contributed to the success of Teen Car Care Night at Complete Auto Service Center.

Twenty students and four parents spent Wednesday evening in our bays learning practical skills that can help young drivers feel safer and more confident behind the wheel.

Students rotated through four hands-on stations led by our automotive technicians. They learned how to check engine oil and other fluids, safely jump-start a dead battery, inspect tires, change a flat, remove and reinstall a wheel, identify basic brake and suspension components, and understand what common dashboard warning lights mean.

We also talked about what young drivers should do when a warning light comes on, when it may be safe to continue driving, and when they should pull over and shut the vehicle off.

At the end of the evening, everyone came together to learn about the wide variety of careers available in the automotive industry. Those opportunities extend beyond technicians to service advisors, parts specialists, quality-control professionals, managers, bookkeepers, human resources professionals, payroll specialists, and marketing professionals.

It was our pleasure to share the basics of vehicle ownership with these young people. We hope they left with useful knowledge, greater confidence, and a better understanding of the people and skills required to keep vehicles safely on the road.

Thank you to the students and parents who attended, the Complete Auto team members who shared their time and knowledge, and everyone who helped make the evening possible. We are proud to serve and invest in the young people of our community.
